The babies will move up to one of our toddler groups when they are between 1 year and 3 months and 1 year and 9 months old. Around that age, your child will be ready for extra challenges, just like all the children in his/her age group, both concerning playing materials and activities. Together, the children will transfer to the toddler group, to a room that is completely equipped to meet their new needs.
At this age, the children become more focussed on playing together; therefore we have combined two baby groups into one toddler group with a maximum of 10 children. In addition, just like in the baby group, one place is not allocated permanently, so that the parents can have a day extra care for their child or exchange days. As the children from the baby group move on to the toddler group together, the friendships they have built up during their baby time can continue. Moreover, the combination of these two baby groups offers them the possibility to make contact with new children in their age group. All the permanent educational staff members will join their transfer to the toddler group, so that their familiar surroundings will ‘grow’, just like the children.
